Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works in TV and film is well known for movies such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The only child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her career in show business at an early age. At the age of 16, she was 16years old, Alexandra was able to land prominent roles in a variety of TV dramas. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also highly praised. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning diva. Alexandra has been engaged in numerous notable projects, both nationally as well as internationally. These projects included British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Other roles she has held include being an official jury member for both The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
